The Swiss label Evidence Music has presented us, since April 24, a new single from Jamaican veteran Johnny Osbourne entitled “Bad Boy”. This track has a very special story that I will tell you about this step.
Recorded in the early 90 s the band of “Bad Boy” was lost. In research for other projects, the Evidence Music team fell on it last year in Portmore (Jamaica) at the Top Secret Music label headquarters. Being sure to have found a real treasure, the label decides to take it out in order to share it as many as possible. So “Bad Boy” is a sound from another era, making it timeless like a time capsule.
The most attentive of you will have noticed that this is a cover of the international big tune “Here Comes The Hotsteppers” by Ini Kamoze. No doubt this piece will give you the energy and motivation to achieve anything you want to do. This powerful single features a training of boxer Tony Moh. “Bad Boy” could be part of the B. O of the next movie creed without any problem!
